Today we catch up with Account Manager Laura Love, who tells us about how she feels fulfilled at Aspen and why our IT support is some of the best in the UK.
For years in my career, I was heavily involved in the world of insurance underwriting, but in 2018 I knew I needed a change. Becoming an Account Manager with Aspen Solutions was a move I needed to push myself and take on a new challenge!
Summing up the Aspen approach, I feel the company aims to deliver a personal level of service tailored to each customer’s business. This could be for office hardware or WFH furniture, cloud service providers, IT support – it is the knowledge that we bring to the table.
One of my favourite parts of working here is the desire for continued improvement. For example, the MS900 exams for Microsoft are something we take to ensure we are fit for the role. Industry accreditations keep us up-to-speed. It makes for better conversations about what our customers need.
This approach opens doors to new ideas to solve problems for the companies we support including Credit Fix & CUK Audio.
The sales team here is unique – everyone is happy to help one another. It’s never about individual targets, it is all about teamwork 100%. Always innovative, the people here make it easier knowing their ideas can help me if I get stuck.
As a female in the IT world, I am seeing a shift! More women are coming into the sector and rising to become decision-makers too. Even within our company, I have brilliant teammates in our Head of Sales, Mhairi and Lisa, who I can turn to.
Looking forward to the rest of the year, there’s a busy sales pipeline for 2021 with new products coming to market too that customers will love. Really no two days are the same! Whatever the new normal brings us, you can be assured that working here, we’re ready!
We love getting the opportunity to share the perspectives of members of our team, and we hope you enjoy reading them! Keep an eye on our LinkedIn and Twitter accounts, as we’ll be posting more team interviews over the next few weeks.
