Broker One Ltd are a general insurance broker covering the whole of the UK. They’re an owner-managed business led by highly experienced industry professionals, each with an exceptional track record of success. They’ve traded in the service centre in Larbert successfully for 2 years. They were in the process of negotiating another lease when the Coronavirus “lockdown” occurred.

The client immediately alerted staff to work from home, with as much of the office equipment as they could spread out between them. After a number of weeks, they became concerned over the response to the situation from their landlord. At the same time, they also considered how seamlessly they had adapted to working from home.

Broker One realised that they could make this move a bit more permanent. This would also allow them to give up the office and buy time to find a more suitable space once “lockdown” was over. They realised that to do this, they needed to invest in their working from home IT and Telecommunications. At this point, they engaged with our team at Aspen Solutions for our expertise!

“We approached Paul and Lisa at Aspen and basically laid out our property plan. We asked for their input to project manage the migration from an office based team to a WFH team, whilst still being fully operational throughout.

Paul and Lisa discussed our plans at length and came up with the best options for IT support and equipment including computer based “soft phones”. We managed to migrated over one day, with the exceptional patience and input from Kyle “troubleshooting” each of our individual issues.
