As we enter into a new year at Aspen Solutions, we wanted to take the opportunity to shine a light on a new client for 2021 that became a consistent part of our working lives over the past 12 months – McKee Campbell Morrison, otherwise known as MCM Solicitors.
As a brand new business, incorporated in December 2020, MCM Solicitors reached out to us at the beginning of last year and we were soon working with them to provide a fast and agile service to help them make an impact.
We were informed that they were moving into their new office space in early 2021, and required a full IT Support install from Aspen Solutions to make this happen. This included the supply of essential IT equipment such as laptops, desktop printers, monitors, Canon photocopiers and Networking equipment. Alex and Mhairi in our team took the lead on this office installation project.
The process was ongoing over the first few months of 2021. Our Service team was able to implement their hardware quickly and really helped them settle into their office space.
With the MCM Solicitors office in the city centre of Glasgow, and our Support team only a short distance away in Cumbernauld, we were able to be truly hands on with this client and offer timely, responsive support whenever it was needed.
Since the new office set-up, MCM Solicitors have grown as an organisation and have onboarded several new staff members. With each new staff member, they have reached out to us as their first port of call to arrange their standard setup.
Additionally, we implemented Teams for Voice as the preferred VOIP solution for MCM Solicitors. Teams for Voice is a first-rate tool for small to medium organisations that turns Microsoft Teams into a powerful and flexible telephone system. Alex and Mhairi walked MCM Solicitors through the basic functions of this tool, setting them up with Auto-attendants, call-handling groups and voicemails.
Many of our customers are making move away from traditional ISDN lines now before they become obsolete, with the switch off due to happen in 2025. You can read our previous blog here where we talked about the importance of ensuring our customers are ready for this switch and what we can do to help. This was a great and simple solution for MCM Solicitors that they have adapted to with very few teething issues.
During the office setup for MCM Solicitors, we installed Outlook, OneDrive and E-SET antivirus endpoint protection on all of their machines. Alongside this, we’ve been ensuring that their software is set up with the automation that they require. When setting up automation for our clients, our number one priority is ensuring that the solution is able to save them time and money. We take into account each team members’ job roles and requirements to make sure everyone is set up with the most appropriate package. Utilising the right level of license for each staff member allows our clients to save on unnecessary costs associated with licenses that have more tools than they need. We’re dedicated to ensuring that our customers have the best, most cost-effective solutions. These solutions speed up their efficiency and processes whilst also freeing up more of their time to do the work that is at the heart of their business.
